Hickory Spur Farm is a 67 acre farm along the French Broad River in the mountains of western North Carolina. It is being managed in an environmentally friendly way. Its main products are berries, black walnuts and herbs. It is teeming with deer and wild turkey.

This is a picture of Hickory Spur Farm from a hilltop on the other side of the French Broad River. The bridge in the photo is at Barnard. Anderson Branch Road goes up river to the left in the photo, Big Pine Creek and Big Pine Road go right, up through the valley.
