This is a photo of the top of South Ridge. South Ridge is bisected by a farm
road (visible in the center of the picture). The road goes through a dip in the
ridge. Note the rounded shape of the apple tree that is above and between the
two small pine trees along the road in the center of the picture.
This photo was taken in late August or early September 2001.
Why is it called the "South Ridge"? Because I couldn't think of a better name and it is the southernmost ridge finger that comes off Hickory Spur on my property.
