This is a photo from the top of South Ridge. The photo looking up this way was taken from atop the mowed hill. Notice the houses in the sun on the hill that is on the opposite side of the French Broad River.

This photo was taken in late August or early September 2001.

Why is it called the "South Ridge"? Because I couldn't think of a better name and it is the southernmost ridge finger that comes off Hickory Spur on my property.
